Echoes In The Iron Presents an Evening with Michigan Duo Dupont Phillips at Paint Creek Center for the Arts
ROCHESTER, MI — March 28, 2026 — 6:00 p.m.
Sponsored by the Greater Rochester Community Foundation
Echoes In The Iron will bring the sounds of Michigan’s independent music scene into the gallery at Paint Creek Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 28 at 6:00 p.m., as part of the center’s new Midwest-themed exhibition.
The special performance will feature Dupont Phillips, an acclaimed Michigan-based singer-songwriter duo known for their thoughtful songwriting, rich harmonies, and intimate acoustic performances. The event is made possible through the support of the Greater Rochester Community Foundation.
The evening will transform the gallery into a listening-room style music experience, placing original music directly within the visual art environment. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the exhibit while experiencing a live performance that reflects many of the same themes found throughout the Midwest exhibition—stories of place, identity, and the culture of the region.
Echoes In The Iron, founded by Brandon Still and Bill Arnold, is a multimedia initiative dedicated to highlighting musicians, historic spaces, and the people working to revitalize communities across the Midwest.
Through filmed performances, interviews, and live events, the project connects audiences with authentic music experiences while showcasing meaningful places and organizations that are shaping regional culture.
The March 28 performance continues that mission by bringing together original Michigan music with one of the region’s leading arts organizations. Paint Creek Center for the Arts has long served as a creative hub for artists and audiences in southeastern Michigan, and this collaboration aims to create a memorable evening that blends live music, visual art, and community connection.
Dupont Phillips has become a standout presence in Michigan’s folk and Americana scene, with songs that draw inspiration from the landscapes and stories of the Midwest. Their performance at Paint Creek will offer audiences an intimate opportunity to experience their music in a setting designed for careful listening and reflection.
The event will take place Saturday, March 28 at 6:00 p.m. inside the gallery at Paint Creek Center for the Arts. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to explore the exhibition and enjoy the unique pairing of visual art and live music.
